Never thought this could be so much fun even when it was hot and tough. The Spanish Federation of Triathlon organizes their yearly championship in different part of Spain and we were lucky enough that this year it took part in Andalucia in Mar de Pulpi. The day was hot but you could have been fooled by observing the athletes and the crowd full of energy and interest.

The event was scheduled for two days, Triathlon Cross on Saturday and Duathlon Cross on Sunday. I took part in both races and Janice did the Triathlon only, which on second thought was a very wise descicion.

Look forward to doing it again next year.
